3 Months ago Londi Mngomezulu (27) started a fast food business in ESkhaleni, this was her response towards the negetive aftermath that came with the Lockdown regulations. She shifted her focus from the Entertainment and Music industry to focus on the food business, she plans to go back to the entertainment industry once she set up systems for her food business.
The music scene gave Londy publicity which she still enjoys even when she have put her music career on hold. Her personality is what draws people to her brand, she is using her brand to influence her business and other ESkhaleni youth owned businesses.
Londy is also currently working on her fitness journey, which is something that is not foreign to her since she has always been a fitness bunny dating back to her primary school days. She use to participate in different sporting codes, she was even a soccer player. Her fitness journey is gaining momentum on the social networks, which will soon attracts endorsements.
The youth is not waiting for handouts and government grants to find means to sustain themselves, all over the country since the beginning of Lockdown we have been witnessing a huge increase in new businesses. The model that is been used is the same all over the country, “make use of the little that you have to start something ” .
